ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Admission to the H.S. courses starts after the announcement of H.S.L.C. examination result and to T.D.C. courses after the announcement of H.S. examination result. Admission schedule is announced in accordance with the AHSEC/ AU notifications. The candidates securing not less than 40% marks in the last examination shall be considered eligible for admission to H.S. first year and T.D.C. first semester. An application for admission is to be made in the prescribed form attached with the college prospectus. The application forms duly filled-in, will have to be submitted to the College office on scheduled dates along with necessary documents. Dates for the test/ interview will be notified in the college notice board. The applicants shall have to produce their documents in original at the time of admission test/ interview. Selection of the candidates for admission will be made by an admission panel on the basis of merit. However, the admissions are provisional subject to the approval of the University/Council as the case may be.

ATTENDANCE RULES

75% attendance in regular classes is mandatory for all students. Those who attend not less than 75% of the total classes held in the college will be sent up for Final Examination as regular candidates.
 

PATTERN OF UNIT TESTS
Unit Tests are compulsory for all classes of both H.S. & T.D.C. For H.S. classes (Arts & Commerce) it will be conducted in accordance with the lesson plan. In T.D.C. classes Unit Tests are compulsory for both Arts & Commerce stream and to be held as per the following calendar : 

 

Odd Semester  :   1st Test-          July/ August
                                 2nd Test by   Sept./ Oct.

 

Even Semester :  1st Test-          January/ Feb.
                                 2nd Test         February/ Mar.

Each Test will be of 25 marks (each subject). Qualifying mark is 10 (40%). If a candidate fails to obtain qualifying marks and those who fail to appear the test on bonafide grounds, one special test shall be arranged before submission of application forms and fees to the University. The marks obtained in the Unit Tests are to be sent to the University as per notification to be issued by the University from time to time.

ANTI-RAGGING MEASURES

There is complete ban on RAGGING in any form inside or outside the campus as per the order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. Any student found involved in such activity, shall be severely punished which could lead to expulsion from the college. At the time of admission, the students and their guardians are required to furnish an undertaking in respect of this (details attached separately with Admission Form).

GENERAL RULES

  • Application for change of subject(s) required to be made to the Principal through the respective HOD(s) within one month from the date of admission. Application received thereafter will not be accepted.
  • All kinds of college dues are payable on or before the dates notified from time to time.
  • Student, who fails to deposit his / her dues within specified period, will be declared defaulter and his/ her name shall be dropped from the College Rolls. Under such circumstances he or she will be re-enrolled on request at the discretion of the Principal on payment of re-admission fees along with other arrear dues.
  • Applications for College Certificate/ Transfer Certificate etc. duly countersigned by the guardians shall have to be submitted with a fee of Rs. 100/- only.
  • Notices desired to be pasted or circulated by the students or others any where in the college shall require prior approval of the principal. All notices for students are displayed on College Notice Board.
  • Use of mobile phones within the campus is strictly prohibited.
  • All powers for maintaining rules and regulations are vested with the Principal and his decision will be final in all such matters.
